As pioneers of the PTSD assistance dogs in Europe, the German Assistance Dog Centre T.A.R.S.Q. is particularly pleased that the work of PTSD assistance dogs has met with broad interest. is people oriented, happy and likes to learn. Sol is happy to inspire his new family with his sweet nature.
Amar and Hope have inherited the innate ability to warn from their mother. They are very people-oriented, compassionate and bright and live for being able to help someone. They would like to be able to warn a diabetic, epileptic (with focal seizures), asthmatic, migraine, stroke patient or narcoleptic in time and faithfully accompany them through life.
Juni is the born PTSD-assistant dog. She is people-oriented, very compassionate and empathic. Already in the aptitude test at 7 weeks she showed that she absolutely wants to help people when they are not feeling well and then tries everything to make them feel better again. Because of her compassionate personality she is also very good at recognizing when a person dissociates or has flashbacks and can then help to interrupt them. Juni is a very cheerful bitch, who alone by her nature is responsible for a good mood and can only make her human laugh and cheer him up by her nature.
The Federal Government's fund has taken over the costs of 15,000 Euros for a PTSD assistance dog.
